Cleveland parkrun

Cleveland parkrun is a FREE, timed, weekly 5km event for runners and walkers of all fitness levels. Which takes place every Saturday at 7am, Henry Ziegenfusz Park (along the Eddie Santagiuliana Way path) Cleveland, Australia.

The Course - A lovely 'out and back' course that starts from the NE corner of the park. It heads along the Moreton Bay Cycleway paths for 2.5km before returning to the start. The route passes by Woodland, Grassland, Creeks, Children's play area, Dog Park and even a Duck Pond. There is a 'playful' incline in the middle of the course (see photo) - but nothing too hard! There are some lovely bayside views and vistas.

There are a few water fountains en route and toilets are about 300m from the start. (It is the brick hut on the Fitzroy st side of Henry Ziegenfusz Park).

parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan.

Taking part is easy – just register in advance by 6pm on the Friday before your first ever parkrun here. The great thing is that you only ever need to do this once! Then just set your alarm for Saturday morning and get yourself there!

If you have ever run at any of our events, then you are registered on our system and you never need to register again. Please do not re-register - it takes a lot of effort to tidy up, and we may lose some of your previous results.

If you are a new runner, and have not previously registered please go tohttp://www.parkrun.com.au/register/form/
